Whether it’s a random Tuesday, a special date night, or actually Valentine’s Day, I HEART any excuse to shower my people with a little bit of extra love. Here are a few of the things that I’ve been working on over here!
Last night before I turned in, I set our table for a fun Valentine’s breakfast. Now…I don’t know exactly what we will have to eat – probably donuts – but the kids won’t care! Our table isn’t normally set so they’ll enjoy the surprise – and a few Valentine happies!
I’m always on the lookout for fun gifts for the kids but since I’ve been decluttering, I’ve gotten really picky about what I purchase! So, when I found these sheets (Holden and Hope), I KNEW I had a winner!!! I can’t wait to see what they think about them!
♥ GALentine gifts ♥
Holden has a couple of friends at school that she wanted to get GALentine gifts for and when we came across these stuffed animals, we knew it was meant to be! She’s so excited to take them to school today!
And I couldn’t resist a couple of cacti for my GALentines!
♥ Classmate Valentines ♥
Hope is in 1st grade and I love how excited she got while preparing her Valentines! It’s fun to see the excitement and joy she gets from giving gifts to others!
For the girls in her class, we opted for pens and for the boys, cars! Colby and Mike had so much fun picking out each individual car – telling Hope how much the boys were going to LOVE them!
And…where will Hope-y put all her Valentines? In this adorable Panda box!
Super thankful for fellow bloggers who share their creations! This was super easy to complete thanks to this post!
♥ Teacher Valentine gifts ♥
I love showering our teachers with gifts throughout the year but the past few months at work have been crazy and left me with little to no extra time. Sadly, I just couldn’t pull anything together. And, then I had hoped to pull something together for New Years and that didn’t happen either so I knew that Valentine’s Day was my chance!
Since the bigs are in middle school and high school (6-7 teachers each), gift cards are the easiest gifts to give. The kids don’t mind taking them to school and the teachers really do love them!
Do you have any special traditions or unique ways that you show special people in your life how much you love them? Doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day – sometimes random Tuesdays are the perfect days to share a little extra love!
Wishing you a day filled with LOVE! Happy Valentine’s Day!
